Pulso/ LT: WherEX: el “Booking” de la cadena de abastecimiento

The two met in Puerto Varas in the world of salmon, and realised that this sector was desperately looking to be competitive, with one of its biggest problems being its supplier network. After several conversations, they found a concrete solution to this "pain", and within a short time they were working with 4 salmon farms and a database of 1,800 suppliers. They continued to grow until they were present in fishing companies all over the country, and about 80% of this industry was using this digital platform.

Subsequently, they entered the agribusiness, manufacturing, mining and other sectors. With this, they decided to open an office in Santiago, and today they already have more than 50 people working in the company, managing to add other sectors and reach a turnover of US2 million during 2019.

What's next for the future? To continue expanding and to complete a round of investments that they had planned before the pandemic arrived, but with peace of mind. The plan is to cross borders and expand to Peru by the end of this year and by 2021 to pilot in Colombia and Mexico.
